Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a school-based occupational therapist in a supportive educational environment. This opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while working alongside dedicated professionals focused on student growth and success. Bring your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy and your passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds. Your skills will be essential in helping students gain the tools they need to successfully participate in classroom environments, develop fine and gross motor abilities, and improve activities of daily living.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid OT license in the state Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Comfortable managing a caseload and adhering to state and federal documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver direct therapy to assigned students Collaborate with educators and families to create and update individualized treatment plans Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student progress Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom modifications and strategies to enhance student participation Enjoy a contract schedule that supports work-life balance and the opportunity to positively impact students and their families throughout the academic year.
