Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite, full-time position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population and play a vital role in their educational and developmental journey from August 2026 through May 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state Experience or strong interest in working within school settings Ability to support students across K-12 grade levels Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation preferred Commitment to fostering student independence and academic participation
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic services to students with diverse needs in accordance with IEPs Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document services, maintain accurate records, and provide reports as required Consult and educate school staff and families on strategies to promote student success Adapt activities and environments to enhance student access and engagement This contract role provides a structured, supportive environment and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within an educational community.
