Candidate Type:
Local or Travel (Stipends available for eligible travelers) Requirements Florida State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. NBCOT Certification required. Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required. Job Overview Nexus Therapy, an American Medical Staffing (AMS) company, is now hiring for a full-time Occupational Therapist position for the 2026-2027 school year. You will be working in a dedicated school district in the vibrant community of Stuart, providing essential services to students with diverse physical, sensory, and cognitive needs. As an OT, you will play a critical role in supporting student participation and achievement. Your role involves conducting functional assessments, developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and collaborating with educators and families to improve student access to their learning environment through specialized interventions and assistive technology.
