Occupational Therapist Momentum Rehabilitation Tampa, FL Job Details Part-time | PRN $50 - $55 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Collaborate with healthcare professionals Skilled nursing facility experience Physiology knowledge Outpatient Master's degree Assisting with ADLs Occupational Therapy Care plan development Patient interaction Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description •Looking for someone for a consistent 1 day/week (set day) along with being available on call for evaluations• Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, including clinics, acute care, skilled nursing facilities, schools, outpatient services, geriatrics, home health, and pediatrics. This role is essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical and mental capabilities. Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living skills and functional abilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and strategies for improvement. Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs. Maintain knowledge of current best practices in occupational therapy and relevant regulations. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience in one or more of the following areas: clinic, acute care, skilled nursing facility, school, outpatient services, geriatrics, home health, or pediatrics is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and its application in therapeutic settings. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to develop effective care plans that address individual patient needs.
