Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are available for experienced and early-career Occupational Therapists passionate about making a difference in school settings. A dynamic contract assignment is expected to begin in August 2026, with the chance to work across multiple schools in a vibrant and supportive community near The Villages, Florida. Enjoy a fulfilling role throughout the academic year, with the potential for interviews as soon as next week—final confirmation pending district budget approval. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced school environment, providing essential OT services to students in a variety of age groups. Strong communication and collaboration skills are invaluable, as you'll work closely with faculty, families, and other support staff. Qualifications & Desired Experience Current, valid Occupational Therapy professional license School-based Occupational Therapy experience preferred, but not required Ability to adapt therapy plans for students with diverse backgrounds and needs Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Willingness to complete district-specific onboarding and credentialing, including all required documentation Availability for on-site service delivery Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude Key Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy services to students as per IEPs or program mandates Evaluate and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and confidential documentation for all services rendered Participate in meetings, professional development, and school activities as required Support the development of students' fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills for academic success This full-time role offers consistent weekday hours within a supportive school community.
