Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist delivering essential services to students through both onsite and teletherapy platforms. In this contract role, you'll play a vital part in fostering student success by providing expert occupational therapy care, conducting thorough screeners and evaluations, and leading a supportive clinical team. As a key contributor in a dynamic educational environment, you will supervise two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring best practices and guiding their professional growth. Your experience in school settings will help you meet the diverse needs of students, collaborate effectively with educators, and contribute meaningfully to individualized education programs.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting required Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery preferred Strong background in conducting screenings and educational evaluations Effective communicator with excellent organizational skills Prior supervisory experience or readiness to mentor
COTAs Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs through both in-person and remote modalities Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and screenings Oversee and support two COTAs, providing mentorship and ensuring compliance with best practices Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to staff and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies supporting student participation This is a fantastic chance to expand your practice in a supportive and innovative school environment.
