Job Description
Building Bridges Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at Building Bridges Therapy, you will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their physical, cognitive, and sensory skills to enhance their overall quality of life. With a focus on children with developmental delays, disabilities, or injuries, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide individualized therapeutic interventions and develop targeted treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, and sensory skills to identify areas of concern or improvement opportunities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Provide direct occupational therapy services to clients in accordance with treatment plans Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and continuity of care Educate and train clients, parents, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to carry over in daily activities Document and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, progress notes, and other relevant information Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist Experience working with pediatric populations with developmental delays, disabilities, or injuries Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and assessment tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organization and time management skills Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment Current CPR and first aid certifications (or willingness to obtain) Benefits offered Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k with matching) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
