Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity serving students aged 2 to 18 in a dynamic and supportive educational environment near Cumming, GA. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a vital role in enhancing students' independence, participation, and success across a range of ages and needs. Collaborate with an encouraging staff team, all dedicated to creating a positive impact for students and their families. This full-time position offers an immediate start with a commitment through June 2027. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week over five days, providing stability as you deliver essential services in schools and, at times, in home or healthcare settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) credentials and certification required Demonstrated expertise in school-based, home health, and broader healthcare settings preferred Experience providing therapy for diverse age groups, particularly students aged 2-18 Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families Commitment to individualized, student-centered care
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based OT services tailored to students' unique needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals Support students' functional participation within classroom and home environments Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with school policies and best practices Communicate progress effectively with students, families, and team members
