Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an Occupational Therapy professional in a dynamic school setting near Davisboro, GA. This contract opportunity involves collaborating closely with teachers, families, and support staff to deliver exceptional therapy services within educational environments. What we're looking for: Active state licensure as an OT or COTA Experience working in a school setting preferred Background delivering Occupational Therapy services to children or adolescents Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and adjusting interventions for individual needs Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Adaptable approach to meeting diverse student goals and IEP requirements Knowledge of best practices in both educational and home health settings is a plus Your responsibilities will include: Evaluating students to determine individual strengths, needs, and therapeutic goals Developing and implementing engaging treatment plans tailored to each student Providing direct therapy interventions for students with a range of abilities and challenges Consulting with educators to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily classroom routines Maintaining thorough, timely documentation and progress reports Participating in IEP meetings and offering input to support student success Staying up-to-date with professional trends and compliance regulations Collaborating with other professionals and families to support holistic progress This role offers you the chance to collaborate, innovate, and make a daily difference in students' lives, all while enjoying the flexibility and variety that contract work provides.
