Job Description

Job Summary Join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team at our outpatient facility in the Augusta area. This is a great opportunity for a therapist seeking to make a real difference in the lives of children. Ducktails Pediatric Therapy and Wellness is a therapist owned, outpatient clinic specializing in physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapies. At Ducktails, we are committed to helping each child become healthy, enthusiastic, and capable adults. With over 20 year of pediatric experience, our therapists are able to address a wide range of issues impacting children's lives. For more information, check us out at www.ducktailspediatric.com; Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of children's physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to develop tailored treatment plans. Implement therapy techniques for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and various diagnoses across pediatric populations. Collaboration with team members when appropriate. Manage medical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance. Provide education and training to families and caregivers to optimize functional outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. Pediatric experience preferred. Skilled in utilizing evidence-based practices to develop effective treatment strategies across the pediatric population. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans. Excellent communication skills required for family and caregiver education and interdisciplinary coordination.
Pay:
$36.00 - $45.00 per hour
