Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) role is available within a school district located near Columbus, GA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work directly with students in a school setting and contribute meaningfully to their educational and developmental progress.
Position Details:
Location:
Fort Benning, GA area, with specific school assignments to be determined
Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
Duration:
Immediate start through May 21, 2026, with the option to continue for the next school year (August 3, 2026 - May 21, 2027)
Caseload:
To be determined based on your experience, preferences, and district needs
Qualifications:
Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license required Minimum one year of clinical experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably including pediatric experience in a school setting COTA candidates with school-based therapy experience will be given priority consideration Must be available for onsite work only
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in the school environment Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district policies Support student participation in educational activities through therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs
