Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This full-time Occupational Therapy opportunity supports K-12 students across multiple school campuses in Grantville, GA. The position runs on a contract basis from August 7th through May 26th, providing consistent, school-year coverage. Qualified candidates will have experience working as an Occupational Therapist in educational settings, specifically supporting a diverse caseload of students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. Comfort managing multiple campuses and collaborating with educators, parents, and related service providers is essential.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant school-based experience Ability to manage a K-12 student caseload effectively Skilled in evaluating and implementing individualized therapy plans Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate services across multiple school locations Familiarity with educational regulations and IDEA requirements Responsibilities for this role include assessing student needs, providing direct occupational therapy services, documenting progress, and collaborating with instructional staff to promote student success across developmental areas. You will support functional skills related to fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
