Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students from PreK through high school for the 2026-2027 academic year. Based just south of Atlanta, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for learners in a vibrant community with easy access to city life. Your expertise in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy will be highly valued as you help students reach their fullest potential. You'll enjoy collaborating with a diverse team of professionals and engaging families to create individualized, impactful interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Georgia (required) Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred Skilled in delivering therapeutic services within schools, home health, and healthcare environments Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Open to new graduates with relevant fieldwork, as well as seasoned professionalsResponsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from PreK through high school Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations Adapt therapy approaches to serve students in both traditional school and potential home health settings Participate in team meetings and training sessions Foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position allows you to immerse yourself in delivering top-quality care while working in a supportive school culture south of Atlanta.
