Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Successful background providing OT services in school, healthcare, and/or home health settings Strong understanding of IEP processes and therapy documentation in educational environments Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, support staff, and families Compassionate approach, with a commitment to fostering student independence and functional success Experience adapting interventions for varied student needs, ages, and abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and educational plans Assess student abilities and develop targeted treatment strategies to improve daily function and academic participation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support for each student's development Consult with teachers and families to recommend classroom modifications and home carryover strategies Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation for compliance Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed
