Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students from PreK through high school as a dedicated Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational setting located just 20 minutes south of Atlanta, GA. This contract opportunity for the 2026-27 school year offers the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and help students meet their fullest potential, working across a diverse population ranging from early learners to high schoolers. Ideal candidates are those with experience in pediatric and/or school-based occupational therapy, able to adapt to various developmental and educational needs. Utilize your expertise not only in school settings but also by drawing on your experience in home health and broader healthcare environments. An active GA license is required to step confidently into this pivotal role.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Current Georgia Occupational Therapy license, in good standing Previous experience in pediatric or school-based OT preferred Strong skills working with PreK-12th grade populations Solid clinical knowledge including strategies for sensory, motor, and functional skill development Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, families, other therapists) Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students across multiple grade levels Deliver therapeutic interventions both in groups and one-on-one for a variety of physical, sensory, or cognitive needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to integrate therapeutic goals into educational plans Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school policies Advocate for student needs and support their engagement in school routines This role offers a consistent 40-hour work week and the rewarding experience of supporting students' educational journeys.
