Day Shift•8:30 AM to 5:00 PM 5x8 Hour Shifts Schedule Varies Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for an acute care hospital assignment in Canton, GA. This role supports patients across multiple acute care units including ICU, neurological, orthopedic, and medically complex patient populations. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with functional, physical, and cognitive impairments Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Provide therapy services to acute care patients including ICU and neuro populations Assist patients with mobility, ADLs, rehabilitation, and recovery goals Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families regarding therapy plans and discharge recommendations Maintain accurate documentation within Cerner / One Chart EMR system Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and hospital protocols Requirements Minimum 15-18 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience required Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License required AHA BLS certification required Acute care hospital experience preferred Experience with ICU, stroke/neuro, orthopedic, and general medical patients preferred Cerner / One Chart experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills required For more details reach at About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
