Job Description

Honolulu, HI Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement. The Occupational Therapy team's committed professionals deliver a number of integrated work-related therapy, care and rehabilitation programs designed to build our patients' confidence while helping them reach full potential in mobility, communication and daily living skills. Services include customized treatment programs, performance skills assessments and treatments, adaptive equipment recommendations and usage training and guidance to family members and caregivers. As the Occupational Therapist, you will help to bring valuable rehabilitative services and relief to patients suffering from work-related injuries. In this role, you will provide direct occupational therapy services and consultation across the full continuum of care. We are looking for someone sensitive and experienced, with excellent communication and patient care skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai'i.

Current Hawai'i Occupational Therapy certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current Hawai'i Occupational Therapy License. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver - AED CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year general occupational therapy experience. Experience with Pediatric or Adult population.
