In this new position, you will work with a patient population experiencing upper extremity physical dysfunctions, vision disorders, neurological conditions, and decreased independence in daily activities. On Campus:
This position is performed fully at the Medical Center University Campus. This position is for 60-100% time.
Work Schedule:
TBD within clinic hours of M-F 8-5. Fringe benefit package includes paid vacation; sick leave; health, dental, life and disability insurance options; and generous employer contributions into retirement plans.
Qualifications, Senior Occupational Therapist:
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy is required. Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required. 2+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy is necessary, with a high degree of understanding of patients with a wide range of dysfunctions. Demonstrated skills in clinical education abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Desirable Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy. 3+ years of experience in one or more advanced practice areas is desired. Demonstrates leadership abilities. Demonstrates experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.
Qualifications, Staff Occupational Therapist Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy is required. Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required. Entry level experience in Occupational Therapy. New grads welcome Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
