What you'll do: Meet the therapy needs of children of all ages and abilities, including behavioral, emotional regulation, gm and fm skills, sensory, visual perceptual skills, ADL's and more. Apply theory-based interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) Teach clients effective new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components Train clients in the use of adaptive equipment (as needed) Guide, train and educate family members and caregivers on tools they can use at home or on a regular basis Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals Provide Assessments to new incoming patients and managing documentation associated with caseload. Collect data and document processes followed Regularly meet with and follow-up with COTA's as needed/assigned, clients and their family, school, caregivers, etc. Collaborate and problem solve difficult client situations with other pediatric therapy team members Description noted above is not inclusive of all job duties.Personal and Professional Skills Needed:
Masters degree or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy Must be licensed as a OT in the state of Idaho or be eligible for licensure. Passion for working with children and making therapy fun and engaging. Strong communication and collaboration skills Creativity, flexibility, and a positive, energetic attitude! Strong work ethic and ability to utilize and manage your time. Feeding experience desired, but not necessary. Clinic and school based opportunities, as desired. Pediatric experience a plus! Competitive pay and benefits, ranging from $72,000-104,000 per year depending on experience and position within the company.- -Other Added Benefits for working with us: PAID Birthday day off!
