Plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.

This means patients can complete a full spectrum of treatments, procedures, and consultations from a multidisciplinary team of therapists for an individualized and comprehensive care plan. Our rehabilitation services department serves patients during and after hospital treatment for a seamless care transition as well as provides robust outpatient therapy services for the community.
Responsibilities:
Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities Studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress Performs a variety of tasks A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Typically reports to a manager Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of a nationally accredited school of occupational therapy required Current Occupational Therapy License in the State of Idaho required
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position Typical equipment used in a clinical job
