Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services to students across a supportive district near Gooding, ID. This role focuses exclusively on onsite, in-person delivery, with engaging assignments at multiple schools within easy reach of one another. You'll partner with another dedicated occupational therapist to serve a manageable caseload of about 35 students, making a meaningful difference throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Idaho (or eligibility to obtain) Recent experience in a school-based OT environment strongly preferred Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for a diverse student population Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Willingness and ability to relocate to the area for the full contract duration Commitment to in-person, onsite student support throughout the assignment
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments for students with IEPs Developing, implementing, and updating individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Collaborating closely with educators, administrators, families, and colleagues to support student progress Maintaining detailed documentation and participating actively in IEP meetings Providing dynamic, evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's needs Rotating between nearby school sites within the district as assigned This part-time position begins August 17, 2026, and runs through May 20, 2027.
