• Job Summary and Qualifications
• The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist is the primary responsible party focused on moving appropriate candidates into inpatient rehabilitation at the appropriate time.

In addition, they are to develop and implement a referral development program as a means to promote the features and benefits of the acute rehabilitation program to patients, families and the community. + Acts as an inpatient rehabilitation expert between internal and external referral sources, and inpatient rehabilitation operations. + Responsible for establishing relationships with case managers, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. + Ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening in collaboration with the Rehab Medical Director.
