Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist is the primary responsible party focused on moving appropriate candidates into inpatient rehabilitation at the appropriate time. In addition, they are to develop and implement a referral development program as a means to promote the features and benefits of the acute rehabilitation program to patients, families and the communit y. Acts as an inpatient rehabilitation expert between internal and external referral sources, and inpatient rehabilitation operations. Responsible for establishing relationships with case managers, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. Ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments and screening in collaboration with the Rehab Medical Director.
