Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Occupational Therapist Opportunity - Jerome, Idaho (On-Site, Contract) A school district in Jerome, Idaho, is seeking two qualified Occupational Therapists to provide essential on-site services for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role involves supporting districtwide students, focusing on those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) requiring OT services or consultation. The district serves approximately 484 students with IEPs and anticipates manageable caseloads distributed between two therapists.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services and consultative support to students with diverse needs within the school district. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with district policies and state regulations. Participate in districtwide initiatives to enhance student outcomes through therapeutic interventions. Replace a previous virtual OT role with on-site presence to better serve district students.
Qualifications and Experience:
State Occupational Therapist License in good standing. Valid Educator Credential, specifically a Pupil Service Certificate with Occupational Therapist Endorsement. Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred. Strong communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to manage caseload and prioritize student needs effectively.
