Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel An experienced Occupational Therapist is sought to provide expert rehabilitation services aimed at maximizing the functional abilities of physically disabled patients within an acute hospital setting. This travel opportunity offers a chance to apply your skills in evaluating, planning, implementing, and adjusting age-appropriate treatment programs, contributing to discharge planning, and engaging in continuous professional development.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients to identify rehabilitation needs and establish individualized therapy plans. Implement and modify treatment programs tailored to patient progress. Participate actively in discharge planning and interdisciplinary team meetings. Perform required administrative tasks and contribute to performance improvement initiatives. Maintain professional certifications and pursue ongoing education to stay current in the field.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in Idaho (must be attached to submission). Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is mandatory. Minimum of 2 years recent hospital-based OT experience, with a preference for acute rehabilitation. Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week.
Workdays:
Wednesday through Saturday.
