Job Description

Become an Occupational Therapist within an acute inpatient and swing bed environment, typically treating 8 to 10 patients daily. With one therapist assigned per day, you'll hone your ability to manage a diverse caseload—from orthopedic total joints and neuro strokes to general medical and ICU patients. The department operates with the
EPIC EMR
system, and, should the patient census dip, you may float to a nearby medical center, further diversifying your experience. Onboarding includes 2-3 days of unit-specific orientation, and you'll be working Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (five 8-hour shifts).
Requirements:
Valid OT license with at least 1 year of acute inpatient or rehab experience Current BLS certification Comfortable with acute inpatient/swing bed settings; new travelers welcome Familiarity with EPIC is a plus Professional adaptability and a patient-centered mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services for a medically diverse patient population Accurately document in EPIC Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and under departmental supervision Flexibly float to other facilities as census requires
