Located near Algonquin, IL, this contract role offers consistent weekday hours, allowing you to focus on fostering students' success throughout the 26/27 school year. You'll help students reach their fullest potential, working closely with teachers, staff, and families to develop personalized plans and track progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license required Previous experience in school-based practice strongly preferred Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and documentation processes Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and school teams Ability to adapt interventions to suit varying developmental and physical needs of students in grades K-12Key Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, evaluation, and direct therapy services for students as outlined in IEPs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom Document and report student progress in accordance with state and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise on occupational therapy services Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all studentsOnsite Employee Benefits:
