Make a lasting impact by helping students achieve their full potential, providing essential support for motor skills, sensory processing, and participation in classroom activities.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current and valid state OT licensure Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and strengths Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each student's educational goals Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to integrate strategies within the classroom Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in a K-12 environment Maintain accurate records, document progress, and attend IEP meetings Educate staff and families on techniques to reinforce skills beyond therapy sessions Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
