School Occupational Therapist | Bartlett, Illinois Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Bartlett, IL Job Details Contract $30 - $55 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact by supporting students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year, providing essential therapy services and collaborating with educators and families. This opportunity offers exposure to a variety of settings, including school-based, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy environments, giving you the chance to expand your expertise while making a real difference.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license and eligibility to work in Illinois Previous experience in at least one of the following: schools, home health, healthcare, teletherapy, or pediatric settings Ability to adapt to both in-person and virtual service delivery Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school personnel Ability to manage time efficiently across multiple assignments
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in alignment with their IEPs Utilize the district IEP system (training provided) for documentation and reporting Travel between assigned school locations as needed; mileage is reimbursed Assess student needs and develop personalized intervention plans Work with a diverse caseload, adjusting techniques to support student success Participate in team meetings and consult with district staff and families Maintain accurate treatment records and comply with district procedures and timelines
