Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active OT license, eligible to practice in Illinois Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy environment preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups according to IEP goals Conduct assessments to determine therapy needs and develop effective treatment plans Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in IEP meetings Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment Educate school staff and parents on strategies to enhance student outcomes Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
