Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students' growth and independence in a dynamic school environment. This position covers a leave from August 14, 2026, through October 30, 2026, and centers on delivering occupational therapy services to early childhood and elementary students across two close-knit school locations. Ideal candidates will be an OT, though experienced COTAs with access to required supervision may be considered. You'll provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students in the Early Childhood program (ages 3-5) up through fifth grade, managing an estimated 8,000-9,500 minutes of service per quarter across two buildings approximately ten minutes apart. Expect a 7-hour workday while students are in attendance, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) preferred; experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) will be considered with appropriate supervision arranged by your team Previous experience in a school setting supporting students with diverse needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school teams Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan implementation Ability to perform student evaluations and complete required documentation
