Bucktown Neighborhood Position Overview:
Thrive Ahead Co. is seeking a compassionate and skilled OTR/L specializing in adult mental health: neurodivergent populations, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, anxiety, and depression, to join our holistic group therapy and wellness practice in Bucktown, Chicago. This is a mental health OT role built for a clinician who believes in the whole person. You'll work with adults navigating executive dysfunction, sensory processing differences, social anxiety, shame, and life and career transitions, using trauma-informed, values-based approaches that go beyond symptom management and into functional, meaningful living. This position starts part-time and is designed to grow to full-time, typically within 3-6 months, as your caseload develops. For the right candidate, this is a direct path to a full-time W-2 OT role without the overhead, isolation, or uncertainty of an independent contractor position. We are especially excited about a candidate who wants to do more than 1:1 sessions. If you are energized by group facilitation, workshop design, and community-based programming, there is real room to help shape and lead that work here. The ideal candidate is a creative with the heart of a teacher: someone who brings empathy, initiative, and curiosity to clinical work, thrives in a collaborative interdisciplinary team, and is excited to translate occupational therapy into practical tools that make a visible difference in people's daily lives.
Compensation:
$45.00 - $55.00 per direct clinical hour $20-25 per administrative, indirect hour At a full caseload, this translates to approximately $60,000-$80,000 annually
