Job Description

Bridging the Gap Rehab is a therapeutic company dedicated to serving children from birth to three years old through the Early Intervention program. We take pride in our close-knit family of therapists who provide quality services, especially to underserved communities. Our approach is to deliver fun, interactive, and educational services to children and their families. As team members, we strive to be lifelong learners, constantly growing and building upon our experiences with the support of our strong, collaborative group. Our therapists employ interventions that blend both child-directed and adult-directed therapy models, focusing on each child's overall development. We actively encourage family participation throughout the therapeutic process and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Job Highlights:
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including parents, physical therapists, speech therapists, and developmental therapists to develop effective strategies for clients. Maintain a caseload of 15-35 direct service hours. Work directly with clients on individualized goals through in-home visits.
Requirements:
Holds a valid license as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois. Exhibits the physical and mental skills (proven through practical and/or written post-training competency tests) necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. Capable of meeting the physical demands associated with the position. Early Intervention Certification through the state of Illinois (if not currently held assistance can be provided to obtain) •Bi-lingual applicants encouraged to apply
