Job Description

Schwab Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate, dedicated and energetic Registry Inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our highly trained and respected therapy team. This unique opportunity allows the Occupational Therapist to expand their skills by working as a member of a large interdisciplinary team in Inpatient rehab (spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke and general) . One year of relevant experience is preferred. Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital is a freestanding, not-for-profit, 102-licensed bed facility located in Chicago and offers the continuum of care from acute care to inpatient rehab to outpatient therapy for adults and children. Schwab is a proud member of Sinai Chicago and the first fully licensed and accredited rehabilitation hospital in the Midwest. Schwab Rehabilitation offers 1 on 1 treatment/care in a unique therapeutic environment featuring 7 large treatment gyms, multiple private treatment rooms, a warm-water indoor therapeutic pool and an award-winning therapeutic rooftop garden. We have a large team consists of PT, OT, SLP and recreational therapists including several bilingual therapists and board certified specialists. Our rehabilitation team takes a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to address the physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs of each patient. Up to $57.50/hour
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited school or equivalent.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the state of Illinois or eligible for licensure as stated by state guidelines.
