A school-based occupational therapist (OT) enhances students' academic and functional participation by addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and self-help skills. They evaluate students, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans, provide direct therapy, and recommend environmental adaptations.
