Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity designed for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make an impact within a vibrant educational setting. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week serving children ages 5 through 10, supporting their growth and development for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Ideal candidates will offer a strong background in school-based occupational therapy, home health, or related healthcare environments. Your expertise and positive approach will empower students to reach their full potential across academic and daily living tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience within school-based, home health, or pediatric healthcare settings highly preferred Confidence working with children across a variety of needs, ages 5-10 Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, families, and other professionals Ability to develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented therapy plans
Core Responsibilities:
Assess student needs, abilities, and goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional performance in the educational setting Develop and deliver individualized therapy interventions in collaboration with education teams and families Monitor progress, maintain comprehensive documentation, and adjust plans as needed to maximize student outcomes Consult and partner closely with teachers to support integration of therapeutic strategies in the classroom Provide resources and empower caregivers to reinforce skill development at home If you're passionate about helping children thrive and seek a school-based contract with real impact, this is your chance to contribute in meaningful ways.
