Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Shape the early learning experiences of young children as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering the chance to impact students in blended and self-contained early childhood classrooms near Des Plaines, IL. Leverage your expertise in sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and fine motor development to empower students to participate fully in their educational environment. You will work closely with both students and a supportive team to tailor the learning experience and provide the highest level of care.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist in Illinois, or eligible to obtain within the state Strong interpersonal and communication skills for meaningful collaboration Flexibility and agile problem-solving abilities Experience in school or early childhood settings is a plus, but not required
Core Responsibilities:
