Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while expanding your experience as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with diverse teams, utilize innovative therapy modalities, and help students build crucial life and academic skills.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license Demonstrated proficiency in providing OT services within school settings Experience supporting students through home health and healthcare-based OT Comfortable delivering teletherapy sessions as needed Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Adaptability and a student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, develop, and implement individualized OT treatment plans for students with varied needs Deliver direct therapy services in-person throughout the school, and remotely via teletherapy tools as required Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to incorporate strategies into daily school routines and at home Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes Help facilitate transitions between school and home healthcare when applicable Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
