Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families Ability to assess and adapt activities based on individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to identify strengths and areas for growth related to school performance Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment plans and interventions within the school setting Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of achievable goals Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions and student progress Provide training and resources to families and team members as needed
