We provide both clinic-based and early intervention services for children and families throughout the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Our approach is relationship-centered, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in meaningful connection through play. Whether you're an experienced pediatric OT or a newer therapist looking for mentorship and support, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for children with developmental, sensory, and motor challenges Develop individualized treatment plans and family-centered goals Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions in the clinic and natural environments when needed Support regulation, motor development, sensory processing, and functional participation through child-led interactions Collaborate with speech therapists, developmental therapists, and families to support the whole child Complete timely documentation in accordance with professional and insurance requirements Educate and empower caregivers with strategies to support progress at home What We're Looking For Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required Passion for working with children from birth through school age Interest in sensory integration, emotional regulation, and play-based therapy Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience in Early Intervention or pediatric outpatient settings preferred, but not required Interest in DIR/Floortime approaches is a plus Why Join Lead The Way Therapy Supportive and collaborative team culture Flexible part-time scheduling Mentorship and professional growth opportunities Continuing education support Beautiful new clinic environment Meaningful work with children and families in an underserved area
