Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in Occupational Therapy to a collaborative and growth-focused educational environment! This contract opportunity offers three unique assignments supporting elementary and middle school students, all onsite and conveniently located near Hampshire, IL. You'll join a team that values mentorship, professional development, and innovative approaches to therapy within a supportive school setting.
Open Positions:
Full-time:
30 hours/week (4 days) serving elementary and middle schools
Full-time:
37.5 hours/week (5 days) serving elementary and middle schools Full-time FMLA coverage: 37.5 hours/week from August 31 to October 27, serving elementary-aged students
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois School-based OT experience or strong interest in working in K-8 setting Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes and ongoing professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group OT sessions in accordance with student IEPs Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service staff Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based interventions Track student progress and maintain accurate records Engage in process improvement and best practices within the OT department
