In this vital role, you will provide specialized therapy services to children across various settings, including daycare centers, early intervention programs, and our clinic facility located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Your expertise will help young patients develop essential skills, improve their independence, and enhance their quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's developmental journeys while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties Assess children's motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, and coordination. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless care coordination Assist children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities in developing communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. Conduct therapy sessions in various settings such as clinics, home or daycare centers Contribute to case management efforts by documenting progress and updating established goals. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification (ILLINOIS) as an Occupational Therapist with specialization or experience in pediatrics. Demonstrated experience working with children in various settings such as clinics or day care settings Familiarity with working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disabilities, or developmental delays Strong documentation and time management skills Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and other providers across diverse healthcare settings .
