This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to promote student success and independence. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for working with children and adolescents, possess strong clinical skills, and be committed to fostering inclusive learning experiences. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to develop tailored intervention plans. Implement therapeutic strategies to improve fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory integration, and self-care activities such as dressing and grooming. Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, and families to create cohesive care plans that support each student's unique needs. Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs) within the school setting to promote independence and participation in classroom activities. Provide training and consultation to school staff on strategies for supporting students with disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Participate in discharge planning for students transitioning between different care settings or returning to school after medical treatment. Maintain detailed documentation of interventions, progress notes, and care plans in compliance with school policies and healthcare regulations. Support students in acute care situations or those requiring specialized attention due to medical conditions or post-acute care needs. Why Join Phaxis Education?
