Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, in Loves Park, IL. This contract position works primarily with elementary-age students in both resource and self-contained settings, supporting their participation in classroom activities alongside peers.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate development of fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities to help students engage fully in classroom tasks Modify tasks or environmental factors to accommodate individual student needs Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as necessary to assess student capabilities Prepare clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations Develop and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and accommodations Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to monitor student progress and devise effective support strategies
Qualifications:
