Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic school-based environment and use your expertise to make an impact on young learners' development. This contract assignment spans August 14, 2026, through October 30, 2026, covering a fall leave. Work within a collaborative educational setting, supporting students in the Early Childhood (EC) program (ages 3-5) as well as elementary students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Your services will be provided across two buildings, located about 10 minutes apart, offering both variety and the chance to work closely with different student populations. Ideal candidates will hold credentials as an Occupational Therapist; however, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) will be considered if adequate supervision can be coordinated.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Occupational Therapist license (or equivalent COTA qualifications with available supervision) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to travel between two local school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in student IEPs Implement accommodations and modifications from 504 plans Collaborate with educational teams to support holistic student growth Perform evaluations, prepare reports, and document progress effectively Participate in team meetings and coordinate with staff to address student goals Manage a caseload totaling approximately 8,000-9,500 minutes per quarter This position is structured for a 7-hour workday while students are in attendance, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
