Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based Occupational Therapy position, where you'll make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working within a collaborative, supportive environment. Onsite roles are available, with three fulfilling contract opportunities starting with orientation on August 3rd and 4th, 2026, and students arriving August 10, 2026. Positions will run through May 27, 2027, with one short-term assignment providing FMLA coverage from August 31 to October 27.
Current openings include:
Full-time, 30 hours/week (4 days) covering elementary and middle school students Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (5 days) with an elementary and middle school caseload Short-term FMLA coverage, 37.5 hours/week, focusing on elementary ages
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist licensure Previous experience providing OT services in school settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for working with children and adolescents Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and implement individualized therapy plans for students Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families for optimal outcomes Participate in IEP processes and contribute to student progress monitoring Engage in monthly team meetings, roundtable discussions, and 1:1 check-ins with supervisors Support process improvement and best practices within school-based OT services You'll thrive with instant access to an experienced supervisor for daily guidance, a "Buddy Program" to ensure a smooth start, and all equipment and materials provided.
