Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite position offers three full-time openings (37.5 hours per week) tailored to your experience and preferred age group. Orientation is thoughtfully scheduled for August 3 and 4, with students beginning August 10 and the assignment concluding May 21, 2027.
Desired Background & Skills:
Hold a current Occupational Therapy license Experience or interest in providing school-based OT services Confident in assessing and addressing students' sensory, motor, and functional needs Strong communication for working with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Commitment to ongoing professional learning and best practices
What You'll Do:
Deliver individualized and group OT interventions supporting access to educational programs Participate in IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring Engage in monthly collaborations and roundtable meetings with fellow professionals Maximize use of comprehensive equipment and assessment materials Take part in orientation (including a supportive "Buddy Program" for new hires) Receive real-time mentorship from a same-discipline supervisor Access professional development courses geared toward school-based practice Share feedback for process improvement and service efficiency Connect regionally with colleagues via our interactive intranet Participate in regular 1:1 meetings and team check-ins with leadership This is more than a placement; it's an opportunity to develop your skills while making a positive impact each day.
