Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' success as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school-based setting near Sycamore, IL. This onsite role aligns with the school calendar, beginning with orientation on August 3 and 4, 2026, and running through May 24, 2027. Choose the right fit for your schedule: a part-time position (1 day per week, 7.5 hours) or a full-time option (37.5 hours per week). Both positions serve early childhood through 12th grade, providing you with the chance to make a difference across a wide age range.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with assessment tools and IEP documentation preferred Dedication to helping students achieve their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver OT services and interventions tailored to each student's unique needs Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation Participate in team meetings, annual reviews, and collaborative problem-solving Engage in professional development and continuous improvement activities
