1 Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with inpatient rehab experience and Epic proficiency for a full-time, Monday-Friday day shift position at a Level 1 Trauma facility in Urbana, IL. Details Inpatient rehabilitation therapy unit at a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Urbana, IL Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM day shift schedule 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day No weekend or holiday shifts required No floating requirements Epic EMR — experience required Candidate selection involves a leader interview with the facility Requirements Active Illinois OT license required (license required if applicable) Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required Current BLS (CPR) certification required NIHSS certification required Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience Epic EMR experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, developing individualized plans of care that integrate goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge planning Perform patient examinations using reliable and valid methods relevant to the chief complaint and patient history Utilize standardized outcomes measures to accurately reflect functional performance Educate patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers using effective teaching methods Provide supervision to COTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory requirements Communicate patient status, activity and transfer recommendations, and discharge disposition with the broader medical team Document evaluations, plans of care, and treatment modifications per department and regulatory standards RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the system
