Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students across K-12 settings as a part-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers a flexible schedule of two days per week, allowing you to enjoy work-life balance while making a difference in a welcoming school environment near Franklin, IN. Your expertise in school-based occupational therapy will be valued as you collaborate closely with educators and families, helping students build the skills they need for academic and personal success.
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred Solid understanding of K-12 developmental milestones and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families Ability to efficiently manage a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students based on their specific needs and goals Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive environments and strategies for student success Maintain clear and timely documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
